My first car, which was the car I owned before the Beetle I have now, was a black 2000 Kia Sephia LS.  It was a total piece of shit.  At 18,000 miles, the seams started splitting in the exhaust system pipes.  At 47,000 miles, the brakes failed while I was driving home from work.  I sold it about a week later.
